GKS 2000 is an advanced Key Server that generate, manage and control the ongoing use of the keys by the GSA 2000. It enables to backup and restore keys if needed.
Compromise of any part of security solution is very dangerous to the data confidentiality. Therefore, to increase the security level, GKS 2000, is a stand alone unit that guarantee a physical gape between the encryption/security engine and the keys used to secure the data. Thus increasing significantly the security level of the stored data.
Single GKS 2000 can serve up to 14 GSA 2000 - EE at the same time.
