Configuration 1 - iSCSI / AES 256
This configuration provides basic security for iSCSI SAN environments. The stored data security is based on GED-i's advanced implementation of AES 256 running on the GSA 2000. The advanced standalone Key Server (GKS 2000) ensures a physical gap between the encryption engine and the keys database. The separation of the GSA 2000 and GKS 2000 into two standalone units (Physical Gap) increases the solution immunity to any threats. GEM 2000 is used to manage, configure and monitor the entire deployment.
